Tarkir: Dragonstorm Commander Party - Ticket

Enjoy an afternoon of casual Commander and play the special Tarkir: Dragonstorm - Commander Party event this Saturday at Goblin Games.

Receive one Play or Draft Booster ($15 value or less) and a non foil Dragonspeaker Shaman  participation promo upon entry; in addition, a pack of the latest available standard legal set will be provided to each four-person table for their first game of the night, to be awarded in a manner the pod sees fit (Coolest Play, Winner Takes All, Drafted Card By Card, etc.)

Additionally, games in the event will be played using the special Tarkir: Dragonstorm - Commander Party rules as summarised below:

Tarkir: Dragonstorm - Commander Party:

Each pod of four will receive a "The Dragonstorm Play sheet" and each player will receive a clan card of their choice (whilst stocks last) to use during the game - they may choose any clan, and more than one player in the same pod may select the same clan. Each clan card lists abilities that can be activated during play for a cost of faction counters.

Each player will need a set of faction counters or a dice to use during play. They should easily fit on the Dragonstorm and be distinguishable from other players' faction counters.

A player places one faction counter on the Dragonstorm whenever they do one of the following:

• Cast a commander or Dragon spell.

• Deal combat damage to an opponent with one or more creatures.

• Cast a noncreature spell with mana value 4 or greater from their hand.

Once during a player's turn, they may activate as a sorcery one of the abilities listed on their clan card by removing the number of their faction counters specified.

At the start of each end step, if the Dragonstorm has fifteen or more total faction counters, each player with counters on it activates their last faction ability without paying its cost; remove all counters from the Dragonstorm.
